The United People Global (UPG) Sustainability Leadership program offers an exciting fully-funded training opportunity in the United States. This program is designed for individuals with influential leadership qualities and provides a golden opportunity for organizations to participate in creating change in communities. As the world's largest youth training program, the UPG Leadership program in the USA motivates individuals and organizations to work on at least one project or express their desire to make a positive change in the world.

About the Program

The UPG Sustainability program focuses on projects that meet the United Nations' sustainability agenda. It promotes both environmental sustainability and social stability. The program inspires young leaders to take action with everything they have and anything they love, without waiting for others to make positive changes. It encourages people at all levels from around the world to become small drops of change, as small drops make a great ocean.

About the University

The program takes place at the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership in the United States.

Responsibilities

- Participate in intensive tasks that build confidence and prepare participants for real-world challenges

- Complete at least one change project in their community after the program

- Share acquired skills with their home countries and communities

Qualifications

- Age between 18 and 35 years

- Self-motivated and able to overcome major challenges

- Ability to think outside the box

- Able to read, listen, and communicate in English (no language certificate required)

- Can be from any race, gender, or educational background

- Willing to make sustainable positive change
